Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock (BTSI) Solenoid Test

BTSI Solenoid: I/P To Body Inline Connector:

Check solenoid connector for open spread or corroded terminals.


- Test Solenoid:

Ground terminal "A" of solenoid and apply 12 volts to terminal "B". An audible noise should be heard if solenoid is functioning. Also, when 12 volts is applied, the car shift lever should move out of Park position.
