Steering Column Slip Ring Removal

WARNING: Refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts/Service Precautions/Technician Safety Information/Supplemental Inflatable Restraints (SIR).

1. Remove steering wheel. Refer to, Steering Wheel/Service and Repair.
2. Remove upper and lower steering column covers.
3. Remove three electrical harness attaching screws, then disconnect electrical connectors.
4. Remove steering column slip ring.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
