Powertrain Controls - ECM/PCM

DTC 12 - DIAGNOSTIC CHECK ONLY (FLASH DTC)
The PCM will flash DTC 12 on the malfunction indicator lamp when it is able to perform diagnostics. The DLC must be grounded with the key On to flash diagnostic trouble codes.

DTC PARAMETERS
If diagnostics in the PCM are functioning, when the DLC is grounded DTC will flash on the malfunction indicator lamp.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
DTC 12 is a flash code. It is not shown on the Scan Tool.
