Window Regulator Assembly

REMOVAL




IMPORTANT: Do not damage insulator panel when removing regulator.

1. Remove door inner panel. Disconnect power lock wiring if so equipped.
2. Remove speaker assembly from door.

3. Remove regulator bolts (four forward and one rear).
Disconnect wiring harness retaining clip from door structure inner panel.
If power regulator has failed in the full up position lower glass and regulator as a assembly to access window retainer clip tabs.
When glass is disconnected remove from door.
Disconnect wiring harness from regulator.

4. Raise lift arms to disengage lower cross-arm. Slide from guide channel.
5. Bring end of cross-arm guide channel through door inner structure opening followed by sash and cross arms.
6. Use one hand through speaker opening to rotate regulator assembly to a vertical position and slide regulator assembly out of door.

INSTALLATION




1. Slide regulator assembly into door and position regulator with attachment bolts.

Torque: 7.5 N.m (67 in.lbs.)

2. Install wiring to regulator (if equipped).
Raise regulator into position and install bolts.

3. Install wiring retaining clip to door inner structure.
4. Install window to regulator assembly.
Slide sash onto retaining clips

5. Install speaker assembly.
6. Install waterliner and trim panel.
7. Feed wiring for power lock switch through door handle assembly, then install door rods to handle assembly and mount handle to door.
8. Install wiring to door lock switch, then install switch into inside door handle.
