Yellow Spots on Seat Cushion or Seat Back Cover Surface (Replace with New Design Seat Cushion or Seat Back Cover)

Due to corrections in the color usages under Parts Requirements, this bulletin is being revised and supercedes bulletin 95-T-54, which should be discarded.

MODELS AFFECTED:
1996 Saturn SL1 Sedans built before and including VIN TZ189309

CONDITION:
Yellow spots may appear on surface of seat cushion or seat back cover.

CAUSE:
Seat trim adhesive bleeds through seat cushion or seat back cover material producing a yellow spot.

CORRECTION:
Replace affected seat cushion or seat back cover with new design seat cushion or seat back cover. Refer to appropriate procedure(s) for affected seat cushion or seat back in the "Vehicle Interior Systems" section of the "1996 Body/Repair Service Manual;" and replace affected seat cushion or seat back cover(s).
