Service Manual Information on Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) Diagnosis

MODELS AFFECTED:
1996 Saturns equipped with vehicle-speed sensitive, variable-effort power steering.

PURPOSE:
Diagnostic information on the electronic variable orifice (EVO), located in the "Steering" section of the "1996 Chassis Service Manual," is incorrect. When diagnosing the EVO system on a 1996 vehicle, refer to the EVO diagnosis in the "1996 Powertrain Controls Service Manual" for the correct diagnostic procedures.
