Replacement Inspection
A wheel must be replaced if it:a. Is bent or dented.
b. Has excessive lateral or radial runout.
c. Leaks air through its welds.
d. Has stretched or oblong fastener holes or fasteners will not stay on tight.
e. Is excessively rusty, particularly in the bead area.
Replacement wheels must be equivalent to the original equipment wheels in load capacity, diameter, rim width, offset, and mounting configuration. A wheel of improper size or type may effect wheel and bearing life, brake cooling, speedometer/odometer calibration, vehicle ground clearance, and tire clearance to body and chassis.
NOTICE: Do not mix wheels of different size or construction on the vehicle. Vehicle handling may be seriously affected and may result in a loss of control.
