SIR Coil Assembly - Installation

NOTICE: A new SIR coil assembly is equipped with a yellow tab that is removed after the steering wheel is installed. This tab passes through the steering wheel at the pass through hole.

1. Route long pigtail of SIR coil assembly behind lever control switch and down the steering column.
2. Install lever control switch.
3. Install SIR coil assembly to lever control switch.
4. Install lower steering column shroud. Install ignition lock bezel. Install upper steering column shroud.
5. Install steering wheel.
6. Enable the SIR system. (Refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts.)
