Stop Lamp Switch Diagnosis - MP6/MP7 Transaxle

The brake switch will set a diagnostic trouble code for certain fault conditions. The Scan tool can be used to verify proper signals to the PCM/TCM.
- Check brake switch connector for open, spread or corroded terminals.
- Test switch by checking continuity across terminal A at switch and terminal D at switch. Continuity should be present with brake off. Continuity should not be present with brake On. If damaged replace switch.
