Main Rear Floor Heater Duct

REMOVAL
1. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Service Precautions.
2. Remove both lower trim panel extensions.
3. Remove lower lip closeout panel and lower heater duct. Refer to procedures under heater core removal.
4. Lift main rear floor heater duct off of mounting bolt and push forward to disconnect from right rear floor heater duct.
5. Slide duct rearward from under HVAC module and remove.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage foam seal.


INSTALLATION
1. Slide duct under HVAC module.
2. Pull main rear floor heater duct rearward and connect to right rear floor heater duct.

IMPORTANT: Make sure main rear floor heater duct is properly positioned on stud.

3. Install lower heater duct.
4. Install both lower trim panel extensions.
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Service Precautions.
