Procedure

1. Open front door on side of vehicle with the rattle, pop, or clicking noise.





2. Look for the white plastic windshield support lower frame clip (refer to top illustration) between lower fender and spaceframe, through door opening.

^ If clip is found, remove and verify that the rattle, pop, or clicking noise is no longer in vehicle.

^ If no clip is found, proceed with next step.





3. Remove air inlet grill panel and look for the white plastic windshield support lower frame clip which might have lodged or fallen into the air inlet grill panel opening. (Refer to "Air Inlet Grill Panel" removal and installation procedures in the Front End section of the appropriate model year Body/Repair Service Manual.)
