Output Shaft Clearance Measurement
1. Assemble output shaft with 5th driven gear as shown. Use old nut and torque.
Torque: 150 Nm (110 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: The 5th driven gear has an identifier groove marked on its face. Install the gear with the groove facing up.
2. Measure clearance between 3rd/4th cluster gear and 2nd driven gear.
Clearance:
Standard: 0.20 mm - 0.35 mm (0.008 inch - 0.014 inch)
3. Measure clearance between 1st driven gear and 1st driven gear thrust washer.
Clearance:
Standard: 0.20 mm - 0.0495 mm (0.008 inch - 0.019 inch)
