Circuit Diagnosis - Clutch Start Switch
Verify switch integrity. The clutch start switch is a normally open switch which closes when the clutch pedal is depressed. Current flows from the ignition switch on circuit 5 (yellow wire) through terminal A of clutch switch to terminal B, circuit 6 (purple wire). Verify switch by back probing both terminal A and B at the clutch switch with clutch pedal depressed and ignition in the "crank" position with a DVOM to ground. If no voltage is present at terminal A, inspect circuit 5 for poor connections or opens, 30A IGN 3 fuse (UHJB) and ignition switch.
