Fuel Gage Diagnosis

FUEL GAGE CHECKS
The functionality and accuracy of the fuel gage can be tested by using the scan tool which provides direct control of the gage through selectable test points. For each of the test points selected on the scan tool the fuel gage pointer

should fall within a pointer's width of the tick marks on the gage.

If the fuel gage is completely inoperative refer to DTC charts for diagnosis.
