Fuse Circuits Testing

Use the following Diagnosis to determine if malfunction is caused by instrument panel cluster, wiring or another component. If cluster is the malfunctioning component, then the cluster needs to be replaced.

CHIME Fuse
Location: Instrument panel junction block
Type: 10A Minifuse
Feeds: Circuit 440

If the following systems is operating properly, the fuse is most likely good.
^ Liftgate ajar telltale (5W only)
^ Chime module
^ Radio (display and station presets)

If the fuse is blown, determine the cause of the blown fuse and repair.
Replace fuse as needed.

HAZARD Fuse
Location: Underhood junction block
Type: 10A Minifuse
Feeds: Circuit 1040

If one of the following systems is operating properly, the fuse is most likely good.
^ Cluster high beam telltale.
^ Hazard flashers

If the fuse is blown, determine the cause of the blown fuse and repair.
Replace fuse as needed.
