Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




1. Remove cruise control throttle cable tab from throttle body cam. Rotate throttle body cam to 1/4 open throttle to release tab.




2. Disconnect cruise throttle cable from module by rotating 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
3. Remove cable from connecting strap.
4. Unsnap both cable clips.
5. Remove cable from throttle body bracket.
6. Remove cruise control throttle cable.

INSTALLATION




1. Install cruise throttle cable to cruise control module connecting strap.

IMPORTANT: Do not twist connecting strap during installation.

2. Install cruise throttle cable to cruise control module by rotating 1/4 turn clockwise.
3. Install cable to throttle body bracket.




4. Install cable in cable clips and snap down clips.
5. Install cable tab to throttle body cam.
6. Adjust cruise control throttle cable.
