Blower Motor Resistor Card Replacement





1. Remove right side I/P lower dash insulator retainers.

2. Pull insulator rearward to detach from forward insulator retainers.





3. Remove right side heater outlet assembly retainer and remove outlet.





4. Remove blower motor resistor card screws.

5. Use electrical harness to pull resistor card out of HVAC module.

6. Disconnect blower resistor card from electrical connector.

7. Obtain replacement blower motor resistor card (P/N 90583344).

8. Connect blower motor resistor card electrical connector to resistor card.

9. Install new blower motor resistor card into module slot with circuit side facing towards rear of vehicle. It will only fit one way.

10. Install blower motor resistor card screws.

Torque:
Blower Motor Resistor Card
Screws: 1 Nm (9 in-lbs)





11. Install heater outlet with retainer.





12. Install lower dash insulator with retainers.

13. Connect negative battery cable.

Torque:
Battery Terminal Bolts: 17 Nm (13 ft-lbs)

14. Test HVAC system with blower fan on all speeds to verify proper operation.
