74. Oil Feed Pipes Assemble and Installation

1. Inspect oil feed pipes for plugged passages, bent pipes, or cracks.
2. Inspect oil feed pipe seal rings in order to verify proper location of seal rings.

IMPORTANT: The oil feed pipe seals are glued into place during initial assembly. If a seal ring is to be replaced, be sure to thoroughly clean any residual glue from oil feed pipes.

3. Replace seal rings only if they arc cut, swelled or damaged.
4. Clean and dry oil feed pipes.





5. Install new oil feed pipe seal rings if necessary.
6. Retain any newly installed oil feed pipe seal rings with petroleum jelly.
7. Install oil feed pipe assembly onto transaxle case.
8. Install oil feed pipe bolts. Hand start bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
