Pusher Fan

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect pusher fan electrical connector.
3. Remove pusher fan harness from puller fan shroud tabs and push harness clear of radiator end tank.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED ON HOIST.

4. Raise vehicle





5. Remove pusher fan to condenser retaining nuts.





6. Pull lower fan shroud forward and then down to remove.





7. Remove finger guard by depressing tabs at four locations.

INSTALLATION

1. Snap now finer guard onto pusher fan.

NOTICE: Position pusher fan electrical harness in shroud indentation to prevent harness damage.





2. Slide upper pusher fan shroud under retaining tabs located at upper edge of condenser.





3. Rotate lower fan shroud onto condenser mounting studs and install retaining nuts.
^ Torque: 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.)
4. Route pusher fan electrical harness around outside of radiator end tank, below upper radiator hose.
5. Lower vehicle.





6. Install pusher fan harness into mounting tabs on puller fan shroud.
7. Connect pusher fan electrical connector.





8. Connect negative battery cable.
^ Torque: 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
