65. Exhaust Manifold Installation

1. Install new exhaust manifold studs.
- Torque: 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)





2. Install exhaust manifold gasket.
3. Install exhaust manifold to cylinder head.
4. Install exhaust manifold to cylinder head retaining nuts. Follow the tightening sequence.
- Torque: 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)





5. Install exhaust manifold heat shield.
6. Install exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
- Torque: 25 Nm(18 ft. lbs.)





7. Coat threads of oxygen sensor with anti-sieze compound, Saturn P/N 21485279 (or equivalent).
8. Install oxygen sensor.
- Torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
