Crankcase Ventilation
A positive flow of ventilation is routed through the crankcase according to engine needs. The system does not require the use of a PCV valve.
As with the L81, clean air downstream of the filter is admitted into the engine crankcase through the throttle body. This air mixes with the gases in the crankcase and is scavenged into the intake manifold at the PCV hose on the throttle body.
