Installation

MODELS AFFECTED:
2000 - 2002 Saturn L-Series vehicles

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide service information regarding a new drawstring design seat cushion cover/pad and to update all 2000 - 2002 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manuals at your location.

The replacement seat cover/pad uses a drawstring to retain the cover/pad to the seat cushion frame instead of the previous J-strip design. The new replacement seat cushion cover/pad will service all 2000 - 2002 L-Series vehicles.

When servicing the cover/pad, refer to the procedure in this bulletin. The attached procedure replaces the currently published "Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad" procedure in the following service manuals:

^ In 2000 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manual, pages 963 through 969.

^ In 2001 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manual, pages 985 through 991.


^ In 2002 L-Series Body/Electrical Volume II Service Manual, pages 1141 through 1146.

Please update all service manuals at your location accordingly.
