Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Run window in 1/2 down position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Removal.
3. Remove the water deflector carefully peel off.




4. Remove the inside weather-strip around the rear of the window.




5. Remove the window trim cover from the rear of the door.




6. Remove the rear door window rear run channel guide and weather-strip.




7. Remove the window glass by tilting the rear of the glass upward and sliding up and out.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the window glass by tilting the rear of the glass upward and sliding down and in.




2. Install the rear door window run channel and weather-strip.

Tighten the rear door window run channel bolts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).





3. Install the inside weather-strip around the window.




4. Install the water deflector.
5. Install the trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Installation.
6. Run window to up position and check operation. If binding exists, inspect all weather-strip and adjust as necessary.
