REMOVAL1. Remove stabilizer bar clamp bolts from frame.
2. Remove exhaust manifold pipe heat shield.
3. Raise vehicle on hoist.
4. Remove wheel and tire assemblies.
5. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector and remove oxygen sensor from exhaust manifold pipe.
6. Remove exhaust manifold pipe fasteners and remove pipe from vehicle.
7. Remove stabilizer link to stabilizer bar fasteners.
8. Remove stabilizer bar through left wheel opening.
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: Stabilizer bar bushings must be installed with the slot facing the rear of the vehicle.
1. Install stabilizer bar bushings.
2. Install stabilizer bar through left wheel opening.
3. Install clamps and hand tighten.
4. Install stabilizer bar links.
Torque: 65 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)
5. Install exhaust manifold pipe.
6. Tighten exhaust manifold pipe to exhaust manifold fasteners.
Torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
7. Tighten exhaust manifold pipe to exhaust pipe fasteners.
Torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: Before installing wheels, remove rust or corrosion from wheel mounting surfaces and brake rotors. Failure to do so can cause wheel bolts to loosen in service.
8. Position wheel onto hub.
9. Install wheel bolts and tighten in a crisscross pattern. Repeat tightening pattern to make sure torque is correct.
Torque: 125 Nm (92 ft. lbs.)
10. Lower vehicle from hoist.
11. Install exhaust manifold pipe heat shield.
Torque: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
12. Tighten stabilizer bar clamps.
Torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
