46. Cylinder Head Installation

1. On front side of engine, install the new cylinder head gasket with part number imprint toward the front of engine.





2. On rear side of engine, install new cylinder head gasket with the part number imprint toward rear of engine.
3. Install cylinder head to engine block ensuring adequate clearance from all wires, components, etc.

IMPORTANT: Use new cylinder head bolts. The required tightening method stretches the bolts, therefore the cylinder head bolts are not reusable.





4. Install new cylinder head bolts. Tighten cylinder head bolts in the proper tightening sequence and in stages.
- Torque: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) + 90° + 90° + 90° + 15°
