Compressor At Maximum Displacement
Compressor At Maximum Displacement:
KEY: 1. LOWER THAN NORMAL SUCTION PRESSURE AND OUTLET TEMPERATURE AT LOWER AMBIENTS.
2. HIGHER THAN NORMAL DISCHARGE PRESSURES.
THEN: Compressor may be at maximum displacement.
^ This condition will be most noticeable at low ambients.
^ This condition could generate an intermittent cooling complaint along with reduced air flow because of evaporator freeze up at lower ambient air temperatures.
^ Replace compressor.
^ After repair return to diagnostic flow chart.
