Right Hand Drive Vehicles

1. Observe position of throttle linkage to make sure the linkage is resting on the throttle stop screw.
2. Depress cruise cable adjuster release tabs and slide adjuster away from the module.
3. Ignition On, engine Off.
4. Using Scan tool, note TP sensor voltage.
5. Move adjuster in toward module until a 1-2 mm (0.040-0.079 in.) clearance is between the adjuster and the accelerator pedal bracket. There should be a very slight amount of play in the accelerator cable.

IMPORTANT: 1-2 mm (0.040-0.079 in.) is approximately one click movement of the adjuster.

NOTE: Driveability concerns may result if the cruise control rod is not adjusted properly.

6. Using Scan tool, make sure TP sensor voltage is not greater than the voltage noted before the adjustment procedure was performed.
