Oil Pump Assembly

OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY





1. Install pressure relief valve and pressure relief valve spring.
2. Install oil pump pressure relief valve plug.
Torque:
Oil Pump Pressure Relief Valve Plug: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
3. Lubricate drive and driven rotors with clean engine oil.

IMPORTANT: Align marks on drive and driven rotors.

4. Install drive and driven rotors into pump body.
5. Fill oil pump with petroleum jelly to prim oil pump.

NOTICE: Fill the oil pump, cavities with petroleum jelly prior to installation. This will ensure Mat there is oil pressure immediately on initial start up and Drill prevent _ engine damage.





6. Lubricate drive and driven rotors with clean engine oil.
7. Install oil pump gerotor cover bolts.
Torque:
Oil Pump Gerotor Cover Bolts: 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.)
