Service Information on Proper Position of Up-Level (L300) and Mid-Level (L200) Dome Lamp Assemblies
MODELS AFFECTED:
2001 Saturn L-Series Vehicles
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this bulletin is to notily you of the correct position of up-level (L300), and mid-level (L200) dome lamp assemblies.
2001 up-level (L300) vehicles can come from the manufacturer with a rearview mirror/map lamp option. With this option, the dome lamp assembly is rotated 180°. This places the dome lamp towards the front of the vehicle and the map lamps facing rearward. With rearview mirror/map lamp option there is no need to rotate the dome lamp assembly. Refer to the following illustrations for correct position.
DESCRIPTIONS AND CORRECT POSITION
2001 Only Up-Level Models
^ Up-Level Models (L300) with rearview mirror/lamp option, dome lamp faces forward and map lamps face rearward
2001 Mid-Level Models
^ Mid-Level Models (L200) without rearview mirror/map lamp option, the dome lamp faces rearward and the map lamps face forward.
