36. Manual Shaft, Detent Lever, Park Lock Removal

MANUAL SHAFT, DETENT LEVER, PARK LOCK REMOVAL





1. Remove manual shaft-to-transaxle case pin.

IMPORTANT: The parking lock actuator assembly remains attached to the manual shaft and detent lever until the assembly is removed.

2. Remove manual shaft and detent lever assembly by pushing the manual shaft into the transaxle case. The parking lock actuator assembly remains attached to the detent lever until the manual shaft and detent lever assembly are removed.

IMPORTANT: Do not damage the case bore during removal of the manual shaft seal.

3. Remove manual shaft seal from the case.
