Lower Radiator Hose

LOWER RADIATOR HOSE

REMOVAL





1. Remove battery.
2. Drain coolant.
3. Remove lower radiator hose to engine block clamp.





4. Remove upper transaxle cooler line from radiator end tank.





5. Remove lower radiator hose to radiator outlet clamp and remove hose.
6. Remove lower radiator hose from wiring harness clamp.

INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT: White line on hose should be installed at 12 o'clock position.





1. Install lower radiator hose to engine block fitting and position clamp at 1 o'clock position.

IMPORTANT: White line on hose should be installed at 12 o'clock position.





2. Install tower radiator hose to radiator outlet and position clamp at 11 o'clock position.





3. Install lower radiator hose into wiring harness clamp.
4. Install outlet hose to radiator and position clamp at 12 o'clock position.





5. Install upper transaxle cooler line to radiator end tank.
Torque:
Upper Transaxle Cooler Line-to-Radiator End Tank: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
6. Install battery.





7. Install battery hold down fan control module bracket.
Torque:
Battery Hold-Down Bracket: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)

NOTICE: Battery life is reduced if battery insulating cover is not used.

8. Install battery insulating cover.
9. Install fan control module by sliding down onto bracket.
10. Connect positive battery cable.
Torque:
Battery Terminal Bolts: 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
11. Connect negative battery cable.
Torque:
Battery Terminal Bolts: 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
12. Fill cooling system.
13. Use fresh water to rinse away any coolant that was spilled during service.
