Rear Transaxle Mount and Bracket(Manual)

REAR TRANSAXLE MOUNT AND BRACKET(MANUAL)

REMOVAL





1. Remove rear transaxle mount through bolt.
2. Remove one of three transaxle mount bracket to frame bolts.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED ON THE HOIST. TO HELP AVOID PERSONAL INJURY WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON A HOIST, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE VEHICLE ON THE OPPOSITE END FROM WHICH COMPONENTS ARE BEING REMOVED.

3. Raise vehicle on hoist.





4. Remove remaining mount bracket to frame attachment bolts.
5. Remove transaxle mount bracket from vehicle.





6. Remove the transaxle mount to transaxle bolts.
7. Remove transaxle mount from vehicle.

INSTALLATION





1. Install rear transaxle mount to transaxle and tighten fasteners.
Torque: Rear Transaxle Mount-to-Transaxle Bolts: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)





2. Install the two transaxle mount bracket to frame attachment fasteners and tighten.
Torque: Rear Transaxle Mount Bracket-to-Frame Bolts: 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.)
3. Lower vehicle from hoist.





4. Install and tighten the transaxle mount bracket to frame attachment fastener.
Torque: Rear Transaxle Mount Bracket-to-Frame Bolt: 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.)
5. Install the transaxle mount to bracket through bolt.
Torque: Rear Transaxle Mount Through Bolt: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)
