C0551 - OPTION CONFIGURATION ERROR





DTC PARAMETERS
DTC C0551 will set if ABS control module option configuration bit does not match vehicle.
When DTC P0551 sets:
^ The TRAC switch LED is commanded Off.
^ The ABS control module will disable TCS.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS

IMPORTANT: When C0551 sets, TCS is disabled for the entire ignition cycle. New ABS control modules will automatically set DTC C0551 when installed. To clear DTC C0551, new modules must be configured with the correct engine and transmission option bit. Refer to "ABS Programming" on Scan tool.
