Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

PARK BRAKE ALARM

REMOVAL





1. Remove park brake boot by squeezing boot on sides while pulling upwards.





2. Remove park brake alarm electrical connector.
3. Remove park brake alarm to park brake lever attachment bolt.
4. Remove park brake alarm.

INSTALLATION

1. Position park brake alarm and install fastener.
Torque: Park Brake Alarm Fastener: 2.5 Nm (22 inch lbs.)
2. Install park brake alarm electrical connector.
3. Install park brake boot into console assembly.
