Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

TAIL LAMP

REMOVAL




1. Open rear compartment lid.
2. Remove retaining screws from side of lamp assembly.
3. Pull the tail lamp housing straight back. Since the lamp snap fits to quarter panel, pulling on the tail lamp will unseat it from the quarter panel.
4. Disconnect harness assembly from tail lamp assembly.

INSTALLATION




1. Connect harness assembly to tail lamp assembly.
2. Align tail lamp to quarter panel and push gently forward until lamp snap fits into quarter panel.
3. Tighten retaining screws.

Torque:
Retaining Screws to Quarter Panel: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)

4. Close rear compartment lid.
