CD Changer/Player Installation

NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with a storage bin, remove the bin and install a console armrest using the Armrest Installation Instruction Sheet.




1. Open armrest.
2. Remove and discard armrest storage bin.
3. Install bezel tray.




4. Attach bracket to CD Changer/Player as shown.

Torque:
CD Changer/Player-to-Console Fasteners - Rear: 4 N.m (35 in-lbs)




5. Drill a 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) hole into console at the specified locations.
5.1 At the dimple on the left side of the console (1).
5.2 At the two crossbar markings on rear of console (2).
5.3 There is already a hole located on the right side of console (3).




6. Position CD Changer/Player by installing it from the bottom of the console.

IMPORTANT: You may find it easier to turn the console upside down to position the CD Changer/Player.

7. Install fasteners to attach CD Changer/Player to console.
7.1 Install fasteners through rear of console (2) into CD Changer/Player.

Torque:
CD Changer/Player-to-Console Fasteners - Rear: 4 N.m (35 in-lbs)

7.2 Install fasteners through sides of console (1) and (3) into CD Changer/Player bracket.

Torque:
CD Changer/Player-to-Console Fasteners Front: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)

8. Ensure fit of CD Changer/Player to bezel tray.
