Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Coupe)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window))Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe)) . The outer door panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
2. Remove the front door window upper weatherstrip from the guide. Refer to Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Coupe) Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon) (Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon)) .
3. Remove the attaching fasteners and remove the rear window guide.



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear window guide with 2 rivets and 1 nut.

Tighten the front door rear window guide bolt to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

2. Install the front door window upper weatherstrip. Refer to Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Coupe) Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon) (Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon)) .
3. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window))Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe)) .
4. Check the window for proper operation.
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
