Secondary Air Pump System Air Pump Bracket

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect air pump wiring harness terminal.
2. Remove air pump wiring harness terminal from bracket.
3. Remove air pump outlet air hose.
4. Remove air pump bracket nuts.
5. Remove air pump/bracket assembly from vehicle.
6. Remove air pump mounting nut.
7. Remove air pump from bracket.

INSTALLATION




1. Install air pump into air pump bracket.
2. Install and torque nut.

Torque:
Air Pump-to-Bracket Nut: 8 N.m (71 in-lbs)

3. Install air pump/bracket assembly into vehicle.

IMPORTANT: Make sure gaskets are installed correctly or a leak will occur. If gaskets are removed from studs, replace with new gaskets.

4. Install and torque bracket bolts.

Torque:
Air Pump Bracket-to-Toe Bar: 25 N.m (19 ft-lbs)

5. Connect air pump wiring harness terminal.
6. Install air pump wiring harness terminal on bracket.
