Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Run the window in the 1/2 down position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair removal procedure.
3. Remove the water deflector by carefully peeling off.




4. Remove the inside weatherstrip around the rear of the window.




5. Remove the window trim cover from the rear of the door.
6. Remove the foam from the door structure, behind trim cover.




7. Remove the rear door window rear run channel guide, and the weatherstrip.




8. Remove the window glass by tilting the rear of the glass upward and sliding up and out.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the window glass by tilting the rear of the glass upward and sliding down and in.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rear door window run channel and the weatherstrip.

Tighten the rear door window run channel bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




3. Install the inside weatherstrip around the window.




4. Install the foam into the door structure, behind the trim cover.
5. Install the window trim cover to the rear of the door.




6. Install the water deflector.
7. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair installation procedure.
8. Run the window to the up position and check operation. If binding exists, inspect all of the weatherstrip and adjust as necessary.
