Rear Seat Back Frame/Cover/Pad - Passenger Side

REMOVAL




1. Remove rear seat back assembly.




2. Using a flat blade screwdriver, gently pry up to remove seat back escutcheon.
3. Starting at the rearmost portion of the escutcheon, pull upward to remove rear seat back latch escutcheon.




4. Pull seat back cover J-strip off of rear seat back panel.




5. Using a trim tool, remove rear seat back panel and lift up rear seat back panel cover. Using a trim tool, remove rear seat back panel and lift up rear seat back panel cover.
6. Pull seat back cover J-strip off of rear seat back panel.




7. Lay cover face down and lift up back panel to disengage rear seat back cover rear upper attachment.
8. Remove rear seat back cover/pad hog rings from foam and remove cover/pad.

INSTALLATION




1. Transfer seat back pad to new cover.
2. Install hog rings.
3. Position rear seat back cover/pad Onto rear seat back panel making sure the seat back pad is properly installed over seat back latch.
4. Fold seat back cover upper attachment strip into rear seat back panel.




5. Install rear seat back cover rear panel with retainers with a plastic mallot.
6. Install rear seat back outer hinge with outer hinge fasteners.

Torque:
Rear Folding Seat Back Outer Hinge Fasteners: 20 N.m (15 ft-lbs)




7. Install rear seat back cover J-strip over seat back panel.




8. Starting at the rearmost portion of the escutcheon, locate rear tab into latch assembly. Push down to fully secure escutcheon.
9. Snap seat back lock escutcheon to back panel.




10. Install rear seat back to vehicle.
