Rear Seat Armrest Replacement

Removal Procedure





Important: The center arm rest cover is integral to the center console. The center console is serviced as an assembly only.


1. Apply several layers of protective tape to the seat back cover near the console fastener location.
2. Compress the seat back cover foam to expose the center arm rest fasteners.
3. Remove the center arm rest fasteners and the center arm rest assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the center arm rest to the rear seat back.
2. Compress the seat back foam to expose the center arm rest bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the seat center arm rest and secure the arm rest with the fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 5 Nm (44 lb in).

4. Remove the temporary protective tape from the seat back.
