Right Front Tire Contacts Front Wheel House Liner On Full Left Hand Turns
Models Affected:
2002-2003 L- Series vehicles with P215/55R16 Tires (RPO QDJ)
Purpose:
When making a full left turn with 2002-2003 Saturn L- Series vehicles equipped with P215/55R16 tires (RPO QDJ), the driver may encounter a rubbing noise coming from the right front inner fender area. This is caused by the tire tread making contact with the Wheel House Liner, when the wheel is turned left to the full lock position. This contact condition is considered incidental and will not harm the tire. Therefore, no attempts at servicing this condition should be performed.
