Wiring Harness Replacement - Rear Door

REMOVAL




1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Remove water deflector.




3. Disconnect power window switch wire harness from connector.




4. Remove speaker screws and disconnect harness.




5. Remove electrical connector from power door lock, and power window motor (if equipped).




6. Remove wiring retainers from door structure.
7. Remove two rubber grommets and pull complete harness out of door structure.
8. Pull complete harness out of door structure routing harness between the rear door and rocker panel.
9. Remove rubber grommet from B-pillar and disconnect electrical connection.

INSTALLATION




1. Connect harness to electrical connector at B-pillar and install rubber grommet.
2. Route harness under rear door.
3. Route harness through rear door connector opening and install one rubber grommet.
4. Install wiring retainers to door structure.




5. Install electrical connector to power door lock, and power window motor (if equipped).




6. Connect power window switch wire harness to connector.




7. Connect speaker harness and install speaker screws.

Torque:
Speaker-to-Door Screws: 1.5 N.m (13.2 in-lbs)

IMPORTANT: Replace water deflector if damaged.




8. Install water deflector.
9. Install door trim panel.
