Sunroof Glass Assembly

REMOVAL




1. Operate sunroof to the 1/4 open position.
2. Remove four screws from "U" cover.
3. Close sunroof and put in vent position.
4. Remove "U" cover by un-snapping sides and lower cover down into passenger compartment.




5. Remove four bolts from encapsulated glass.

INSTALLATION




1. Install encapsulated glass with four bolts.

Torque:
Encapsulated Glass-to-Sunroof Module Fasteners: 4 N.m (35 in-lbs)




2. Align encapsulated glass to roof in four locations indicated by arrows, 0-1 mm (0-3/64 in.) lower than roof in the front and 0-1 mm (0-3/64 in.) higher than roof in the rear.




3. Install "U" cover by snapping the sides to the sunroof assembly.
4. Operate sunroof to the 1/4 open position.
5. Install four screws to "U" cover.

Torque:
Sunroof Module "U" Cover Retaining Screws: 4 N.m (35 in-lbs)

6. Verify smooth operation.
7. Verify alignment to roof.
