35. Cylinder Head Assemble

CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLE

TOOLS REQUIRED
- J41775 Valve Seal Installer
- J43963 Valve Spring Compressor
- SA9102E-A Valve Seal Remover/Installer





1. Coat valve stem with engine oil.
2. Insert valve stem into the proper port.
3. Install valve spring seat.
4. Use Valve Seal Installer J41775 to insert valve seal into the cylinder head.





5. Install valve spring.
6. Install cap on valve stem.
7. Use Valve Seal Remover/Installer SA9102E-A and Valve Spring Compressor J43963 to compress valve spring.
8. Perform the following steps to install the valve stem keys:
8.1. Use a light grease to hold the keys in place while removing the SA9102E-A and J43963.
8.2. Seat valve stem keys in the upper groove of the valve stem.
9. Install lifter.
10. Repeat the above sequence for the remaining valves.
