57. Front Timing Belt Cover Installation

FRONT TIMING BELT COVER (UNIT REPAIR)

INSTALLATION





1. Install front timing belt cover.
2. Install front timing belt cover bolts.
Torque:
Front Timing Belt Cover Bolt: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
3. Install front runner bracket.
Torque:
Intake Manifold Runner Bracket Bolt: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
4. Install oil level indicator tube.
5. Install coolant pipe tube.
6. Attach oil level indicator tube and extension housing and install bolt.
Torque:
Oil Level Indicator Tube Bolt: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
7. Install power steering pump and A/C compressor bracket on engine block.
Torque:
A/C Compressor and Power Steering Pump Bracket Bolts: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
8. Install power steering pump.
9. Install power steering pump bolts.
Torque:
Power Steering Pump Bolts: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
10. Install power steering: pump pulley.
11. Install power steering pump pulley bolts. Tighten power steering pump pulley bolts after drive belt is installed.
12. Install water pump pulley.
13. Install water pump pulley bolts. Tighten water pump pulley bolts after drive belt is installed.
