Speeds - Normal Characteristic/No Service Required
Models Affected:
2002-2005 Saturn L-Series Vehicles with Chrome Clad Wheels (RPO PYI)
Attention: Fixed Operations Manager and Technician
Purpose:
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform Saturn Retailers of a normal characteristic of chrome clad wheels (RPO PY1).
Some customers may comment on a clicking noise coming from the wheel(s) of the vehicle. This noise may be noticed while driving at low speeds, next to a wall with the window(s) down. The clicking noise is caused by the flexing of the chrome cladding on the wheel and is considered a normal condition.
No service is required for this condition. Replacement of the wheels will not correct this concern.
