Intermittent Conditions

INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTION
An intermittent problem may or may not set a diagnostic trouble code. If it is an intermittent failure. a Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart is not used. Consult the Diagnostic Aids on the diagnostic chart corresponding to the diagnostic trouble code. Also, refer to symptom pages of the service manual. A physical/visual inspection of the applicable sub-system most often will resolve the problem.
