Purpose





The purpose ot this bulletin is to provide intormation on the detrost operation change with the latest automatic HVAC calibration installed. When installing the 7.2 version of the automatic HVAC calibration into a vehicle that previously had the 6.0 or 7.0 version of the calibration installed, the operation of the front detrost button will change. The table describes the operation of the front defrost button with each calibration version.

All new service automatic HVAC control units since March 2003 (P/Ns 22694049 and 22696058) have the 7.2 version of the automatic HVAC calibration pre-installed from service.

Please update your 2002-2003 Saturn L-Series HVAC Service Manual with the information in this bulletin.
