Body CD Jumper Installation

1. Remove right side carpet retainer (sill plate).
1.1 Move front seat to forward most position.
1.2 Starting at front of vehicle, remove carpet retainer by gently pulling on retainer at attaching clip locations.

IMPORTANT: If leather seats, move rear seat cushion forward before removing bolster to avoid damage to leather. If the seat is not leather, movement is not necessary.




2. Remove right rear seat bolster.
2.1 Reach down into the outer corner of rear seat cushion to expose bolster retainer tab.
2.2 Bend tab upward.
2.3 Starting at bottom, pull forward to disengage bolster from retainer tab, then pull upward to disengage upper attachment.




3. Remove cargo shade.
4. Lower rear seat back assembly.




5. Gently pull at attaching clip locations and remove cargo shade side molding.




6. Remove rear load floor.
6.1 Flip load side-wing(s) upwards.
6.2 Lift load floor upwards.
6.3 Slide load floor tabs out of front load floor assembly.
6.4 Lift load floor out of vehicle.




7. Remove cargo net fasteners.




8. Gently pull at clip locations and remove rear cargo area side carpet.




9. Route Body CD jumper along the right side of vehicle starting at area between rear seat and rear cargo area.
10. Route Body CD jumper around rear seat support bracket and put enough of the harness through to reach CD changer/player location.

NOTE: Make sure the Body CD jumper is lined up correctly with holes before attaching them. The clips are easily damaged when removed.

11. Install Body CD jumper to vehicle starting with jumper clip nearest the CD changer/player connector. Attach all of the other clips as you route the Body CD jumper to rear seat area.




12. Route Body CD jumper along rear seat and install jumper to vehicle using attachment clips.
13. Open harness channel found in right inner rocker panel area and install Body CD jumper.
14. After installing harness, close harness channel.




15. Connect Body CD jumper connector to I/P CD jumper connector which was routed earlier and is located near the right I/P fuse block (RIPFB) area.
16. Connect Body CD jumper connector to RIPFB using the rosebud clip on the connector.
